Saviola score amazing goalThings got off to a flying start for Athletic in the 17th minute with a beautiful header off of a perfect cross from Markel Susaeta. The next goal didn’t come until the next half, and, it looked rather flukey- this is my honest opinion, not just a fan of the losing team complaining. Iraizoz was caught out of position and Saviola easily exploited it. Iraizoz misjudged the position of the ball and, we might as well credit the first Benfica goal to him. The next goal was a bit “different”, too. Seriously, Saviola got his foot into the perfect spot and the Athletic players looked like they were defending something to come from the air.
